To champion wellbeing and create access to mental health knowledge, support and guidance for the rugby community of Aotearoa.
We’re for rugby, by rugby. Mind Set Engage is New Zealand Rugby’s Mental Health & Wellbeing Programme.
Established in 2017 and formerly named 'Headfirst', the Mind Set Engage team connect with rugby clubs around Aotearoa, with a goal to support a cultural shift in our rugby communities that sees more people seeking and receiving help.
We’re here to support players, coaches, rugby staff, volunteers and whānau improve their own mental wellbeing and provide them with tools to help others.
